Is IB for you?
IB - the Short Version
IB - International Baccalaureate is an academically challenging international education, which you can use as STX to apply for higher education courses. All teaching is in English. For more detailed information about the programme, read under "IB-Diploma".
What can you do with an IB-Diploma?
- You get a very good alternative to a Danish stx-degree.
- You can apply directly to universities all over the world.
- Almost all teaching is in English, so you will learn to speak fluent English
- You will have the chance to learn a lot about international relations
Who chooses an IB-Diploma?
IB addresses different student target groups. Have a look and see if you are in one of them:
- Students who wish to study a higher education abroad. Internationally oriented students who wish to study an international higher education or an internationally oriented education in Denmark.
- Students whose mother tongue is not Danish. Students whose knowledge of Danish is not enough for them to take a Danish stx-degree, but who still wish to get their degree in Denmark.
- Students who have spent a year abroad. Students who have been abroad for a year and who wish to continue with an international perspective by completing an international degree instead of a Danish one.
- Students with parents working abroad. Students whose parents work abroad and who wish to complete their IB in Denmark in order to stay in contact with their nationality while keeping open the international possibilities.
- Students already studying IB abroad.
